Q. When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged immediately after submitting your gift on the site.
Q. Will I receive a receipt for my contribution?
Yes, Eckerd College will email you a receipt after you confirm your gift.
Q. What is GiveGab?
GiveGab is a nonprofit giving platform that helps nonprofits raise money, engage supporters and coordinate volunteers quickly and efficiently. GiveGab offers a full portfolio of simple and easy to use products that allows organizations to function in a more streamlined manner.
Q. Who will receive my contact information?
Eckerd College will have access to your name and email address.
Q. Can I make donations via a mobile device?
Yes! Simply visit crowdfunding.eckerd.edu on your mobile device.
Q. How much of my gift goes to Eckerd College?
GiveGab retains a 3.5% campaign management fee from all gifts. Credit Card processing fees are an additional 2.5% + $0.30 for all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). You are given the option to cover the fees, and if you choose this option, 100% of your online charitable gift will go to Eckerd College. All gifts are final and cannot be refunded. Any gifts processed outside of Eckerd Crowdfunding gift period, through GiveGab.com, or subsequent recurring donations are subject to transaction fees outlined on the GiveGab.com pricing page: http://info.givegab.com/pricing.
